The East Keswick Beer Festival has now become a regular fixture in the calendar of local beer lovers. It's a superb day out in a great setting - East Keswick's Village Hall - beginning at 12 noon and running through to 10pm ish, beer stocks allowing. Last year beer stocks lasted all evening and it is the intention of the organising team to repeat this success, so whether you choose to come for the afternoon or for the evening you are assured of a great time.

Make a note of the date - Saturday 9th October 2010.

The format of the event will follow the successful formula of previous years. 20+ real ales will be on offer together with wine, lager and soft drinks for those with different tastes. Children are welcome to accompany you in the afternoon and alternative entertainment will be provided for them (under your supervision) in the Verity Room. Traditional pub food - including Illingworth's famous Pork Pies and peas - will be on sale. Live entertainment will run throughout the day. For visitors from farther afield, First Leeds services 98 and 99 provide direct links with Leeds and Wetherby whilst rural service 923 links the village with Otley, Harewood, Boston Spa and Tadcaster during the afternoon.
