At a time when local libraries are at risk and many closing, it is good news that the East Keswick visits of the mobile library have been saved - for the time being.

This valuable service depends upon people using it so villagers are urged to give it a visit if you haven't been before, or revisit if you haven't been for a while.

The days and times of its visits have changed. It will now park up in the Duke of Wellington car park on Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm
